A Spaghetti Dinner to benefit the Animal Care Sanctuary will be held on November 7th beginning at 6pm At the First Christian Church in Alba. Adults- $8.00 Students/Seniors- $5.00 Children 5 and under- Free.
Veterans Appreciation Days
Area Veterans are invited to Veterans Appreciation Days at Larry's Sports Center in Galeton PA on Friday and Saturday November 8th and 9th. Free Lunch available. Representatives from DAV will be on hand to assist any veteran with questions. Larry's will present each veteran with an appreciation gift.
USED BOOK SALE
A Used Book Sale is scheduled for Saturday, November 8th, from 10am until 2pmat the Towanda Public Library located on 104 Main Street. Hardbacks $1.00, Softbacks $0.50. The sale benefits the Towanda Public Library.
Craft Fair & Bake Sale
The Friedens Lutheran Church in Liberty is having a Craft Fair & Bake Sale on Saturday November 8th from 9am-2pm. Free Admission, Lunch of Vegetable Beef Soup, hot dogs, hamburg BBQ, beverages and Pies will be available.
Vendor & Craft Fair
The 4th annual Military Family Support Group Vendor & Craft Fair will be held on Saturday November 8th from 10am-3pm at the Wellsboro Army National Guard Armory. Free admission. Vendor space still available by calling Stacey at 570-529-5441All you can eat Spaghetti Dinner.
The Wysox Volunteer Fire Company will have a Spaghetti Supper on Thursday, Novermber 13, 2014 at the Fire Hall in Wysox. Serving will begin at 4 p.m. and last until 7 p.m. The meal is complete with Salad, Drink and homemade desserts. Take outs are available. Come out and support the local fire company.
All you can eat Spaghetti Dinner SATURDAY NOVEMBER 15TH 4-7PM at the Chemung Christian Church on Main Street in Chemung. Funds raised will go to SUPPORT MISSIONS TRIP TO BELIZE. Donations will be accepted and be given to a group going to Belize on a mission trip.
New York Penn Firemen
The next meeting of the New York Penn Firemen's Association will be Thursday November 20th at the Coopers Plains Fire Department located off Route 17 in Coopers Plains New York. The Meeting will begin at 8pm. All interested Fire Departments in New York and Pennsylvania are invited to attend.

Holiday Craft & Vendor Show
The Towanda Fire Department Annual Holiday Craft & Vendor Show will be held on December 6th from 10am-4pm at the Fire Department on Elm Street. Free Admission over 40 crafters and vendors will be on hand. Treats for the kids, food will be available and there will be a Chinese Auction to benefit the Fire Department. The public is invited.
Beginning Sunday January 11th and continuing the second Sunday of February, March & April South Creek Lions on Route 14 in Gillett will present a breakfast for the public. The menu includes scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage, toast and sausage gravy along with coffee, orange juice. Cost is $8.00 per meal doors open 7am-10:30am.
The Open Arms Community Church of Bradford is launching an addiction recovery program, starting around the new year. The church is in the process of gathering and training volunteers for the Celebrate Recovery program, that will in turn allow people to be honest, open, encouraged and supported.
