Troy Pool

Troy Pool  swimming lesson dates have been set. June 22nd to July 3rd, July 14th to July 24th and Aug 3rd to Aug 14th. For open swim information visit "Troy Pool" on Facebook.

 

Street Sweeping

Troy Boro Officials have scheduled the following dates with NTSWA for street sweeping.  Street sweeping is generally completed between 4 am and 8 am to avoid higher traffic volume.  Dates may be adjusted to better fit NTSWA’s schedule or for weather conditions at NTSWA’s discretion.  These dates are also listed on the Troy Borough website calendar.

Benefit Ride

Troy American Legion Riders Post 49 is sponsoring a ride on Sunday June 28th to benefit the Bradford County Veterans Memorial Park in Towanda. Signs ups begin at 9am on June 28th at the north Towanda Dandy. Kick Stands up at 10am. Cost is $10 per rider and $5 a passanger. This is a 80 mile ride ending at Progress Plaza. (Dinner on your own along the route.)

"THE GARDNER SISTERS" will provide the special music at the Standing Stone Community Vesper Church on
 Sunday, June 28, 2015. 

"AN OLD FASHION HYMN SING" will be  the special music at the Standing   Stone Community Vesper Church on  Sunday, July 5th.  The public is invited.  

150th Anniversary

 The East Smithfield United Methodist Church will be celebrating its 150th Anniversary with a daylong event on June 28, 2015 at the church, 312 Church Street, East Smithfield,

PA.   Worship will be at 11 AM, followed by a luncheon at 1 PM and cutting of the cake at 2 PM.

SRU Track Reunion

The SRU High School Track Reunion will be held on July 5th starting at 12n at Coach Steven's Farm 446 Crandall Road in Milan just off the Berwick Turnpike across from Potters pond. Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church

This summer, Mt. Pisgah Wesleyan Church will host a kids’ event called Weird Animals VBS, July 6-10th6:30pm to 8:00pm each evening.  At Weird Animals VBS, kids will learn about some of God’s most creative creations!  Kids three years old, up to those entering the 6th grade in the fall, are encouraged to be a part of this program.  Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required.  For more information, please call the Mt. Golf Tournament

The South Creek Lions Club is holding a  "Golf Tournament" on Sunday August 16th at Tomasso's Golf Course near Waverly on old Route 17.  Registrationis at 12:30pm T Time start at 1pm.This is a fund raiser to help the Lions Club with activities in the community. Memorial Shoot

The 2nd Annual Kyle Decker Memorial Shoot will be held on Saturday August 22nd at the Chemung Road & Gun Club on Lattabrook Road in Breesport NY. Are you aware that anyone in Pennsylvania who land applies manure, via pasture or mechanically, is required to have a manure management plan? This would include something as simple as one horse. Although required, these plans can be very quickly and easily put together. They can even save you money. They are also YOUR plans. They will be kept in your files and will help protect you if for any reason DEP were to stop at your place. The Bradford County Conservation District is here to help you with those plans.
