Valley Youth Soccer
Valley Youth Soccer Association Fall Soccer Registration has begun and will continue through June 15 for on time registration. Fall soccer registration is for all kids age 3 (birthday on or before July 31, 2010) and age 14 (born on or after August 1, 1998) for kids residing in the Valley School’s area. Registration is done on line on the VYSA website, which is found at www.valleyyouthsoccer.org. Once on the site simply click Registration and follow the directions. There is a FAQ page for any questions that you may have. Cost per child is $45 when registered by June 15. From June 16 through July 1, a $15 late fee will be added. After July 1, a late fee of $30 will be added to the registration fee. Payment is done on line as well. Please note, there is no guarantee for player openings when registering after July 1. If you do not have access to a personal computer at home or work, please consider our Local Library as a resource for computer access. Used Book Sale
A used book sale is scheduled for Saturday, June 14th, from 10am until 2pm at the Towanda Public Library, located on 104 Main Street. Hardbacks $1.00, Softbacks $0.50. The sale benefits the Towanda Public Library.
Bradford County Humane Society
The Troy American Legions Riders from Post 49 will be holding a Benefit Ride for the Bradford County Humane Society on Sunday June 15th sign up from 8-10am at the American Legion Post on Veterans. Cost is $15.00 per rider $5 for a passenger. This will be a 100 mile ride through the Country ending in Athens.
The next meeting of the New York Penn Fireman's Association will be held Thursday June 19th 8pm at the Crary Hose Company on Route 49 in Westfield. All member departments are encouraged to attend.
The Annual 4th of July Parade in East Smithfield will begin at 12n. This years theme is "Spirit Of America". Floats are invited, Marching Units, Classic Cars & Trucks and Equestrain units. Line up at 11am behind the Muncipal Building. FMI call 570-596-3584
Summer Cohesion Registration
The Chemung County Youth Bureau will be offering the Summer Cohesion Program this summer beginning July 7th and ending August 14th.2014 marks Summer Cohesion's 40th year providing safe, well-supervised, recreational, educational and cultural enrichment activities to Chemung County youth ages 4-12 years old. The Armenia Mountain Snowmobile Club will be holding it's 2nd Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday June 21st at Pine Croft Golf Course. Sheriff's Golf Tournament

Troy High School Class of 1994 Reunion
The 20th year class reunion for the Troy High School class of 1994 will be held on Friday, August 22nd at 7:00 pm at the Troy Vet's Club. We will also hold a family reunion on Saturday, August 23rd at 3 pm at Mt. Pisgah State Park - poolside picnic tables. This will be a dish to pass event.
